The area isn’t the best, but it's close to Woolworths for essentials. The lack of baths due to the drought was a letdown, though we managed with showers. The stairs were a hassle since our room was at the top, and the intermittent load shedding made things a bit inconvenient, although lanterns were provided.

We enjoyed a peaceful night in a comfortable room with lovely views. The breakfast spread exceeded our expectations and was a great way to start our day. For future guests, pack light if you're staying on the top floor, as there's no lift!

The location was ideal for exploring Knysna, especially with the kids and dogs. We loved visiting the nearby Pledge Nature Reserve for some outdoor fun, and the breakfast was simply delicious, making our mornings delightful.

My children wanted more space to play safely.
